Annually Crescent Rotary Club hosts the Boil & Bru, a low country shrimp boil and craft beer event. Proceeds from this event are distributed to local non-profits through grants. In addition, a portion of the monies raised goes to district projects and Rotary International initiatives.

Since it’s inception, the Boil & Bru has raised close to $50,000 for local, national and international charities.

Partners for the annual event have included Preyer Brewing Company, Four Saints Brewing Company, Pig Pounder Brewery, Fiddlin’ Fish Brewing Company, Natty Greene’s and Pepper Moon Catering. Years one and two were held on the lawn at Blandwood Mansion and year three was at the new Cadillac Garage.

The evening is a great combination of good food, local beer, live music, friends, fellowship and fun.
