Crescent Rotary Information

Are you looking for an opportunity to be more engaged in your community?

Crescent Rotary was founded in 1964 and today has over 90 members who are involved with numerous non-profits including Purple Heart Homes, Greensboro Housing Solutions’ Project Rebuild, Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club, Salvation Army Red Kettle, Greensboro Urban Ministry, Greensboro Beautiful, Meals of Hope, Guilford County Schools, and more. Through our annual fundraiser and individual contributions, Crescent Rotary provides considerable financial support to select organizations that address a wide range of challenges including disease eradication, clean water, hunger, and literacy for economically disadvantaged and underserved populations throughout the world.

Crescent Rotary has an impressive lineup of speakers at each weekly meeting. Programs routinely focus topics as diverse as entrepreneurship, arts and entertainment, sports, education, business, governmental affairs, and more. We have a number of fellowship opportunities in addition to our weekly meetings including wine socials, group outings to local sporting events, golf tournaments, holiday parties, picnics and our annual fundraiser.

Explore our site, check out our activities, club projects and club information and if you happen to be in the Greensboro area, come visit us! We meet for lunch most Mondays from 12:30-1:30, at the Greensboro Regional Realtors building located at 23 Oak Branch Drive, just off Wendover Avenue.

If you have questions or you think Rotary might be right for you, please don’t hesitate to contact club President, Sharon Schlachter at crescentrotarygso@gmail.com.
